Cleaning and Care

Raven Scanner motors and image sensors can get dirty over time and use, reducing scanning performance and image quality.

• If your scans are showing lines, black dots, or other quality issues: Clean the Raven Scanner image sensor.
• If Raven Scanner has trouble scanning very thick paper or stalls during scanning: Clean the Raven Scanner image sensor and rollers (especially the bottom rollers).
• If Raven Scanner is having ongoing feeding or skewing issues: Clean the Raven Scanner image sensor and rollers. Also make sure you're scanning with the paper guides, and read more about specific instructions for your scanner within your Scanner's User Manual
